its enriching and safe environment for study
I am a student from Hungary with a BA in Eastern languages and cultures. The reason I’ve chosen the University of Jordan’s Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II School of International Studies’ MAdegree in Diplomatic studies, because its enriching and safe environment for study and research on issues that concern today’s globalizing world, and of course for thechance to improve my Arabic level. What I enjoy about my specialization is that it incorporates a diverse field of knowledge that includes history, political economy, diplomacy, negotiations, development, and foreign policies among others. Ienjoydiscussinginternational contemporary issues, expressing our own thoughts in the seminars. The professors are with no doubt among the bests I’ve ever met. Theyencourage us to think critically, and develop a better understanding of the topic, calling for you to go beyond the confines of your comfort zone. By challenging you in this way the programme teaches you to grow both personally and academically. The end result is not just a broadened knowledge of the subject matter, but a real desire to continue exploring the discipline long after the lecture is over.
All in all, my major has challenged as well as profitedme in a number of ways so far, and I’m very excited to see the new adventures coming next year!
The reason I chose the University of Jordan is that this university is famous for its high-quality education and research in the Middle East and also its excellent international outlook and community.
I am a student from Taiwan, studying MA in Diplomatic Studies in Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II School of International Studies. The reason I chose the University of Jordan is that this university is famous for its high-quality education and research in the Middle East and also its excellent international outlook and community. There are also many conferences and workshops in which we can have discussion with scholars from all over the world, these opportunities gave me chances to learn about the current trends of the world issues. Despite the fact that I don’t have any background of International Relations, the professors are very willing to help solving any of my problems. I’ve learned a lot so far, and with the support of the professors and the help of my classmates, I am sure in the future I will definitely learn more.
