MA in Political Science / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

After completing this program, the student is expected to be able to:

1.    Showing a deep and specialized understanding of various knowledge and theories in the field of Political Science.

2.    Employing all the students’ knowledge, ideas and political philosophies in interpreting political events, whether at the local, regional or international level, and analyzing their implications with predictability of the course and trends of these events.

3.    Collecting; analyzing and critically evaluating the main arguments in the cognitive fields of Political Science.

4.    The methodology of scientific research is used to interpret and analyze various issues in the field of International Relations and Political Science and to disseminate the results in reports and research in scientific journals.

5.    Effectively organizing lectures, workshops and seminars in the field of Political Science.



 

6.    Comparing and analyzing the various data or factors that influence the political decision-making process, whether internal, regional or international, as well as psychological analysis of the decision maker's beliefs.

7.    Participating actively in the activities and public works that contribute to the development of the relevant labor institutions and raising their level of performance through execution and competitive activity as well as the ability to apply concepts and theories of management and decision-making and the capability to analyze decision-making institutions.

8.    Employing different knowledge and ideas in the field of International Relations and Political Science in reading and analyzing local, regional or international political events.

9.    The methodology of scientific research is used to interpret and analyse various issues in Political Science and to disseminate the results in reports and researches in scientific journals.

10.  Committing to completing work on time without delay and showing dedication to teamwork and respect for others in the work environment

11.  Compliance with instructions in the field of work and the ability to discipline and conduct business professionally.
